Road Trip!!!

We had our Fall break this weekend and what better way to spend it then taking a road trip down to Cedar City to visit my good friends Jenny and Alyssa. Kristee, Jamie and I considered it our senior road trip we never took, although I did go to DC for my senior trip. We did so many fun things while we were down there. The first day we were there we went to a D.I. institute dance. We dressed up in crazy clothes (thanks to Alyssa's crazy taste in clothes) and went and took over the dance floor. Afterwards we went back to Jenny and Alyssa's place and watched a movie, and stayed up till about 3 talking. The girls still had school on Friday, so while they were at school Kristee, Jamie, and I drove around town finding things to do. We found a cool ice cream place called Maggie Moo's. It was a lot like Cold Stone. Later that day we went on a hike with Jenny and Alyssa's neighbors. (we made fast friends with all of Jenny and Alyssa's friends, it was like we had know eachother since school started) It was such a fun hike, although the boys made us run most of it, and after the hike we had a fire. We played some volleyball with our new friends and went hot tubbing. After all the fun excitment we watched a movie and stayed up till about 5 listening to Kurtis play the guitar. Our plan was to go to St. George the next day, but we all slept in till 1:00pm. Our last day there we went to a old ruin coal mine and played around there for a while, then we went to Park Discovery (its just like the park Discovery Park we have here). The last hour we had left I was trying to think of ways to say longer, and everyone wanted us to stay, even our new friends we had made, but I had to get Kristee and Jamie home. It was so much fun and just the trip I needed, and I love hanging with the girls. I cant wait till our next road trip down there.

A little bit of everything

My college life is not really that exciting. Mom keeps telling me I don't email her enough to let her know what is going on, and I don't, but I really don't do much other then school and work. But this week has had a bit more excitement. Earlier this week my friend Jamie and I went and flew kites. It was the perfect day the fly a kite, and something that we have wanted to do for a while. To top that day off we threw a surprise party for Colby's birthday. We had many Tim Tams, and by the time I went home I was covered in cake. Yes what kind of party, for Colby, would it be with out a cake fight. When Wednesday rolled around my few friends I have at the moment (Kristee and Jamie) realized we needed to do something. We got together and got our favorite hot chocolate at Walkers and a muffin and watched a movie. In Dallan's words we were "party animals." Ok well maybe not really party animals, but Dallan told us how to be party animals, since he is the biggest party animal of all (going to bed at 6:00 and all he really knows how to party it up). Over all this week has been a good week. Beats sitting at home or at school all day.
